About the Job:

As an Unarmed Security Officer at Inter-Con, you will be essential in securing vital facilities and infrastructures. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a visible presence to deter unlawful activities, enforcing security protocols, and ensuring the safety of personnel and property. You will receive training in surveillance, emergency response, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular surveillance of the secured areas.
• Observe individuals within secured areas to identify potential threats or criminal activity.
• Monitor activities related to equipment deliveries and construction projects.
• Inspect vehicles and persons entering and exiting secured areas to prevent unauthorized access.
• Report suspicious activities to appropriate authorities immediately.
• Serve as a deterrent to crime by displaying a strong security presence.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols of properties, ensuring compliance with safety measures.
• Log visitors, vehicles, and maintain security records diligently.
• Assist in emergency response situations as required.
• Prepare detailed security reports for management and law enforcement as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in law enforcement, corrections, or military police is required.
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Medical certification of fit-for-duty status is a must.
• No physical or mental conditions that would hinder job performance.
• Honorable discharge status for veterans is essential.
