Summary of Functions:

Receives and keeps records on all incoming shipments and prepares merchandise for storage or distribution to sales floor. Maintains records of items stored in inventory and supports sales team through preparing merchandise for the sales floor. Superviseand coordinate receipt of inventory and scan into system. Ideal candidates will possess a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Exemplifies and is the model of the Core Purpose and Core Values at all times; make guests andTeam Members feel special.
  • Assists Retail Manager and retail floor Team Members to ensure the highest standards of operation and get guest experience.
  • Assists the Resort Retail Manager and Assistant Managers with ordering/purchasing of Windfall products.
  • Responsible for all products received and either their storage and/or delivery.
  • Responsible for noting any damaged/missing goods upon receipt and informing shipper of the conditions prior to departure of the delivery carrier.
  • Ability to operate the Retail Pro system.
  • Assists Retail Manager with all merchandise credits and returns.
  • Receives all secured items of the retail store.
  • Responsible for food and beverage products to ensure conformance to established quality standards.
  • Responsible for counting and sorting and/or weighs incoming merchandise to verify receipt of items on requisitions or invoices.
  • Responsible for scanning bar codes for all inventory.
  • Stamps, marks, and tags Windfall merchandise.
  • Responsible for the completion of the receiving log for non-inventory products.
  • Responsible for picking, stacking, and unloading received goods and merchandise.
  • Operates pallet jacks and or uses hand trucks and/or industrial trucks to move, convey, or hoist shipments from receiving area to storage or work area.
  • Transports materials or supplies to floor when needed.
  • Enters Purchase Order receiving information into Retail Pro and forwards on to Manager.
  • Participates and assists in month end inventories.
  • Assists in the disposition of surplus/damaged equipment for sale or disposal.
  • Responsible for safe operation of all equipment.
  • Ensure all equipment and facilities are properly maintained and in a clean and orderly fashion in accordance with Kalispel standards.
  • Ensure all products are rotated, as necessary.
  • Responsible for all Fed Ex and UPS deliveries.
  • Responsible for printing PO's and tracking tickets from Retail Pro.
  • Responsible for merchandise pickups and deliveries around the Spokane metro area.
  • Ensures control and protection of all Windfall assets.
  • Ensures that highest possible standards of guest satisfaction and Team Member relations are maintained and carried out in a positive manner.
  • Ensures compliance with Tribal, State, Federal and NIGC regulations.
  • Available and willing to work nights, weekends holidays and on-call as required.

Experience
  • One-year purchasing/receiving/warehouse experience

Skills & Abilities
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Programs and Retail Pro.
  • Knowledge of various warehouse machinery necessary for receiving and delivery of inventory.
  • Knowledge of standard purchasing, receiving and inventory control policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with government officials, department heads, team members, guests, vendors, and the general public.
  • Skill in effectively communicating information through verbal and written correspondence to Department Heads, team members, guests, vendors, and the general public.
  • Skill in solving practical problems and dealing with situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills.
  • Skill in identifying and resolving administrative problems under pressure conditions.
  • Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screen.

Education
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Other Requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Kalispel Tribal Work Permit.
  • Valid driver's license (Must be in possession while operating a Tribal Vehicle).
  • A valid Washington State Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) Certification. - obtained within 60 days of start date.
  • Food Handler's Permit.
  • Hepatitis A & B Vaccinations
  • Class I & V lift truck certification preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to tobacco smoke, flashing lights, and loud noises as found in a casino setting. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, repetitive motions, extreme cold or extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
