Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. This role involves handling various materials, ensuring their accuracy and delivery, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to perform tasks independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from incoming and outgoing trucks.

• Verify the accuracy of all incoming raw materials.

• Label and move materials to designated storage locations.

• Make appropriate entries in the computer system.

• Deliver materials to equipment following outlined procedures.

• Maintain scrap bin levels and coordinate with vendors for emptying.

• Keep the outside scrap bin area clean and free of metal debris.

• Shear materials to specific dimensions.

• Assist in packaging products when necessary.

Essential Skills

• Minimum one (1) year of experience operating a forklift.

• Ability to drive a 26' truck for local deliveries

• Basic math skills.

• Experience with production, assembly, hand tools, and manufacturing.

• Experience with fast-paced and repetitive work, meeting production quotas.

• Experience with sheet metal, metal fabrication, blueprint reading, press brake, and machine operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Quick learner with strong attention to detail and highly motivated.

• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work independently or within a team environment with little supervision.

• Willingness to work overtime.

• Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $26.30/hr.
