divh2Landscaper/h2pThis role will be located at one of Discovery Land Companys locations: Project Name, set outside of closest and largest recognizable city/state. Project Name is seeking a Landscaper to join the Landscape (HOA) Department. The Landscaper is responsible for maintaining the grounds of the club and residential homes. Responsibilities may include weeding (chemical and manual), lawn mowing, string trimming, edging, mulching, pruning, and raking. This position is key to maintaining a magnificent visual appeal to our members. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees./ppKey Responsibilities/pulliMaintain landscapes throughout golf course, club amenities, residential homes and common areas to include but not limited to weeding, lawn mowing, and string trimming, edging, mulching, fertilizing, pruning, and raking./liliInstall new landscape plantings and annual color at residential homes, on the golf course, and around the club./liliWater and maintain new plantings as well as annual plantings./liliParticipate in leaf removal during dormant seasons, as needed, throughout property./liliBasic knowledge of proper chemical and fertilizer applications to maintain a healthy and aesthetically pleasing landscape./liliSafe operation of all hand tools, large and small equipment such as push mowers, zero turn mowers, skid steer, tractors and mini-excavator./liliKeep all work areas orderly and neat./liliAssist with landscape projects as requested./liliParticipate in daily set-up/closing of the departments tools and equipment./liliReport any safety or maintenance issues immediately to the Landscape Manager/Horticulturist./liliAttend department meetings and trainings as necessary./liliAny other duties as assigned./li/ulpQualifications/pulliPrior experience in landscaping, preferably within a residential or hospitality environment./liliAbility to operate landscape machinery such as push rotary mowers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, utility vehicles, and riding mowers./liliPossess a valid drivers license and ability to operate vehicles properly and safely./liliPlant knowledge/Horticultural Practices knowledge a plus./li/ulpAdditional Requirements/pulliPositive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members./liliMust be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
