Nutrition Center Technician

Under the supervision of the Clinical Nutrition Manager the Nutrition Center Technician (NCT) collaborates with the pediatric dietitians to provide nutritional care to patients. The Nutrition Center Technician is responsible for the preparation and delivery of infant and pediatric formula, and breast milk preparations. Preparation techniques must adhere to all sanitary regulations and standards established by regulating agencies and Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree, Or
  • Bachelor's Degree, Or Registered with American Dietetic Association as a dietetic technician or registration eligible

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Nutrition or health related coursework preferred.
  • Experience with population of ages to be served (infant, toddler, pre-school, school-age child, adolescent) as a clinical dietetic technician.
  • Acute care setting.
