Assembler

This position involves performing a variety of light assembly operations using drawing schematics and diagrams to assemble components or subassemblies. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to production and quality standards in a fast-paced and repetitive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Utilize general shop equipment and a variety of pneumatic hand-tools.
  • Meet production and quality standards in a fast-paced, repetitive environment.
  • Maintain a clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in production, assembly, and using hand tools.
  • Prior production and manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with fast-paced and repetitive work, meeting production quotas.
  • Ability to use specialized machines such as RG-50, RG-80, HRB, and FBDs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • CNC experience with computer console is a plus.
  • Knowledge in sheet metal, metal fabrication, blueprint reading, press brake, and machine operation.
  • High school level education or equivalent with specialized training from vocational courses or on-the-job.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Capability to make decisions and exercise judgment for quality checks.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

The work environment is a dynamic and growing sheet metal manufacturing shop with welders, powder coaters, brake operators, and quality inspectors. The Spokane facility is a new site with plans to expand to over 60 team members, providing a great opportunity to join early and be part of a small, collaborative team. The facility specializes in making parts for key clients, offering a chance to work in a supportive and progressive environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
