Touchmark on South Hill is Spokane's leading full-service retirement community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services, and amenities. We are currently seeking the right person to join our team as a Building Services Technician!

Schedule has room for flexibility but must be able to work weekends! Sunday -Thursday
Hospital or Retirement Community experience preferred!
Wages start at $25/hr and up depending on experience!

As a Building Services Technician, you will assist the building services team in maintaining the community and the grounds, by providing repairs, renovation work, and routine maintenance as requested. This is not your standard maintenance position - at Touchmark, you have the daily opportunity to build long-term relationships with the wonderful people who call this community "home!"

Responsibilities include

  • Be knowledgeable about and promote environmental safety for yourself and others.
  • Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when assisting with residents, family members, team members and visitors.
  • Perform repairs, parts runs, and preventative maintenance.
The ideal candidate will be trustworthy and compassionate, and will have:
  • A valid drivers license
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Education related to building maintenance or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience in building maintenance strongly preferred.
  • Have at least one (1) years' experience in a similar environment with strong knowledge of maintenance processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Physically capable of turning, stooping, bending, stretching, pushing/pulling, moving equipment and furniture, and able to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Willing to learn CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Be able to complete and follow Touchmark Vehicle Safety Program.
  • Be able to work both inside and outside year round.
