Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a skilled and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Imaging Specialist to enhance our dynamic team of imaging professionals dedicated to providing outstanding care. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct a diverse array of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clarifying each step with care and empathy
- Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-quality diagnostic images
- Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
- Document procedures accurately and maintain comprehensive patient records in the electronic medical system
- Remain informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capacity to work autonomously as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
