Allied Universal - - Responsibilities: Provide customer service to riders, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location; Conduct routine patrols of platforms, transit centers, parking areas, and building perimeters to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and policy concerns; Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing assistance with disturbances, medical calls, and evacuations as directed by site procedures; Monitor access points and public areas, observe for suspicious behavior, and assist with crowd control and line management during peak service times and/or special events; Document incidents, patrol activities, and observations in written reports, and communicate by radio and/or phone with site contacts and public responders as needed
