Overview of Position:

As a Customer Service Associate, you will provideexceptional and friendly service to our customers, ensuring a pleasant experience at our store. You will play a vital role in maintaining a professional environment and upholding the high standards set by Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver friendly and courteous service to customers.
  • Accurately take and complete customer orders.
  • Utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance customer experience.
  • Process payments and provide correct change.
  • Inspect product quality in accordance with Krispy Kreme standards.
  • Prepare ingredients for doughnut processing (glazes, fillings, icings) following correct formulas.
  • Restock products to ensure freshness.
  • Assist with unloading delivery trucks.
  • Follow company procedures as outlined in training materials.
  • Answer phone calls promptly and follow greeting procedures.
  • Provide product samples to customers as directed.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned.

Sanitation Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and mopping all required areas in the store.
  • Sanitize and restock bathrooms regularly.
  • Clean tables and chairs in customer areas.
  • Empty trash receptacles inside and outside the store.
  • Keep parking lot and surrounding areas tidy.
  • Wash windows as necessary.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Basic mathematical skills for handling cash transactions.
  • Literacy skills to read and comprehend instructions.
  • Must pass a drug screen and background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds frequently.
  • Utilize cleaning materials and equipment effectively.
  • Reach the counter or drive-through area comfortably.
  • Handle products carefully to avoid damage.
  • Visual acuity to read labels and measure accurately.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and team members.

Working Conditions:

  • Indoor work environment.
  • May encounter temperatures up to 100 degrees in production areas.
  • Potential noise levels that may require shouting to communicate.
