Our client is seeking a hands-on Senior Data & Analytics Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-grade Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse and Power BI solutions supporting marketing and customer analytics. This role owns end-to-end data engineering, semantic modeling, and reporting delivery in a production-scale environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse architecture using Bronze/Silver/Gold (medallion) patterns
• Build and orchestrate pipelines using Fabric Data Factory
• Develop scalable transformations using PySpark and Spark SQL
• Model optimized star schemas and design Power BI semantic models
• Develop advanced DAX and optimize Power BI performance
• Implement incremental loads and CDC patterns
• Apply data quality checks, governance standards, and documentation/runbooks
• Configure Row-Level Security (RLS) and enterprise security controls
• Manage monitoring, alerting, and reliability of production workloads
• Support Dev/Test/Prod deployments using Fabric Workspaces and Deployment Pipelines
• Partner with Marketing, Growth, and Product stakeholders

• 8-12+ years of data engineering or analytics delivery experience
• Recent hands-on delivery using Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Factory, Spark, Workspaces, Deployment Pipelines)
• Strong Power BI expertise including semantic models, advanced DAX, and performance optimization
• Advanced SQL, PySpark, and Spark SQL
• Experience with Delta/Parquet formats, partitioning strategies, and tuning
• Marketing analytics experience (web/app events, campaign/email data, paid media, CRM/CDP datasets)
• Proven production experience including monitoring, alerting, reliability, governance, and documentation
