Receives and distributes tires and other items within warehouse by performing the following duties.
Provides customers with knowledgeable, courteous and prompt service at all times, while being sensitive to their needs.
A team player committed to continuous improvement.
Adheres to and supports safe work practices and Commercial Tire's safety guidelines and standards.
Receives all inbound freight within warehouse, unloads freight on truck and checks off orders in a timely fashion. Maintains high accuracy level in check-off procedures.
Reads work orders to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed. Loads trucks.
Uses computer to assist with locating types of tires by manufacturer; transfers inventory to stores; closes out transfer requests and bills the appropriate location.
Assists with slow-moving, obsolete inventory items and reports observations to supervisor.
Assists with requests received from store personnel or outside customers, researches problem if necessary and responds in a timely fashion.
Maintains a clean, neat and orderly warehouse environment with inventory stored in its proper place. Helps with maintaining over-stocked areas.
May operate forklift and other vehicles, if necessary.
Completes all required training.
All other duties as assigned.
