OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION

The Account Coordinator plays a central role in supporting integrated communications and social change marketing campaigns. This position is highly project-based and focused on campaign logistics, documentation, coordination and production support.

You will execute and support assigned account tasks and deliverables across multiple clients. This includes setting up systems to manage and track project details and timelines, coordinating tasks across cross-functional teams, managing documentation and file organization, supporting creative production and ensuring details stay organized and moving forward. You will spend significant time in spreadsheets, project management tools and internal systems to keep workflows accurate and on track.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the connective tissue of a team. You take pride in precision, follow-through and keeping things running smoothly. You are comfortable providing consistent coordination and administrative support, and you are excited to grow your expertise in production and campaign operations over time.

You will work closely with account leads, creative teams, vendors, and clients to ensure deliverables are organized, deadlines are met, and communication stays clear.

REQUIREMENTS:

MUST-HAVES:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience through internships or entry-level roles in marketing, communications, public relations or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience providing coordination, administrative or production support.
  • Strong comfort level working in spreadsheets and project management systems to track budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple moving pieces while maintaining careful attention to details and deadlines.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive, collaborative relationships across teams, clients, and external partners while contributing to a supportive and solutions-oriented work environment.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and the ability to apply an equity lens to communications work.
  • Genuine interest in building expertise in campaign coordination, production logistics, and account support.
NICE-TO-HAVES:
  • Previous agency experience.
  • Experience supporting creative services, community outreach or vendor coordination.
  • Familiarity with project management platforms such as Hive or similar systems.
  • Understanding of integrated communications, marketing or public relations models.
  • Multilingual abilities.
JOB DUTIES:
  • Support account leads with day-to-day campaign coordination, logistics, documentation, and miscellaneous administrative tasks.
  • Schedule and support client meetings, take detailed notes and prepare recaps.
  • Track deliverable details and timelines across multiple projects and accounts to ensure accuracy, accountability and timely delivery of high-quality work.
  • Coordinate with creative team members, vendors and partners to support production timelines and deliverables.
  • Draft copy for creative deliverables including social media posts, blogs, e-news, press releases, and web content.
  • Conduct secondary research to inform projects, summarize findings, and identify relevant trends.
  • Assist with media support including drafting pitches, building media lists, coordinating interviews, and tracking coverage.
  • Support new business efforts through research, marketing support and proposal coordination.
  • Apply social change marketing principles and an anti-racism lens to all assigned work.
  • Participate in agency trainings, committees and cross-department collaboration efforts.

Competitive Salary: $51,400 to $66,500, commensurate with experience

Reports to: Associate Vice President

Office Requirements: Hybrid, based in Spokane or Seattle, Washington
