1. Bag groceries efficiently at checkout, ensuring the integrity of items.
2. Assist customers by removing merchandise from their carts for checkout.
3. Offer assistance with loading bags into customers' cars.
4. Perform basic shelf stocking and maintain store cleanliness.
5. Inform customers about current grocery promotions.
6. Return merchandise back to shelves as needed.
7. Collect shopping carts and maintain designated areas.
8. Address spills, trash, and cleanliness both inside the store and throughout the parking lot.
9. Engage with seasonal merchandise as required.
10. Understand store layout, help locate products, and conduct price checks.
11. Enforce safety protocols and inform management of any hazards.
12. Comply with food safety regulations and guidelines.
13. Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs to management.
14. Foster a welcoming atmosphere by answering questions about products.
15. Adhere to all local, state, federal laws, and company policies.
16. Work effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
