Aerotek is hiring a Production Lead for a manufacturing company in Post Falls!

Job Duties:

Verify materials on work order to ensure correct number of components are available for production

Ensure all employees abide by the safety regulations

Responsible to keep line clean of any debris at all times; clean up production line when production is completed

Review work order for assembly instruction

Assign work to employees

Train employees on the procedure to assemble products per assigned role for the day

Update production metrics on hourly production for Production Supervisor

Prepare documents regarding line and quality checks; request additional components for production line as needed

Escalate production issues to Production Supervisor or Production Manager as needed

Perform quality checks of the line; perform other duties as needed or assigned

Perform hands-on work alongside the employees

Requirements:

Experience in production and supervision.

Knowledge of assembly and production management.

Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.

Leadership experience, preferably within manufacturing.

High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office programs.

Ability to perform a variety of production operations or operate a variety of production machinery and equipment.

Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Details:

Swing shift.

Pay starts at $23 - $25/hr, based on experience.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
