Incumbents may perform other duties as assigned.Pick sales orders and production jobsResponsible for inventory transaction entriesEnsure proper labels are used, and properly markedAssist with inventory controlUtilize basic stocking processes to put away finished goods and raw materialUtilize proper techniques for packaging sales ordersIdentify consolidation potential to maximize warehouse spacePerform all work assignments with proper material handling techniques, following quality standards and safety precautionsUse of forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck to move materials around the warehouseAssist with regular clean-up duties as neededAdapt and accept changes based on production demands and schedulesMay be responsible for other duties assignedEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh School diploma or GED is a plusAbility to read, write, and perform basic mathForklift experience preferred but not requiredExperience using an RF Gun is a bonusExperience working with ERP systems is helpfulComfortable working both independently and as part of a teamLANGUAGE AND PEOPLE SKILLSAbility to understand and follow both verbal and written instructionsBasic English speaking, reading, and writing skills are requiredCOMPUTER SKILLSExperience using computers, email, and internet preferredPHYSICAL DEMANDSAbility to regularly required to sit or stand, and use hands to manipulate small components.Frequently reach with hands and arms, occasionally above the shoulders or below the knees.Frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.WORK ENVIRONMENTWorks in an open manufacturing environment.May be required to work on or around equipment that produces radiant heat.Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, industrial chemicals and vibration.Noise levels in the work environment is usually moderate, though the employee may occasionally be subject to higher noise levels.We are an equal opportunity employer.
