Position Details
Role: Experienced Veterinary Assistant
Status: Full-time
Salary: Starting at $19.50 per hour, and is based on experience
Schedule: Flexible 4-day work week with rotating Saturday shifts. No nights, on-call shifts, or holiday hours.

Mt. Spokane Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our fantastic team! What Our Veterinary Assistants Bring
At least 1-2 years of Veterinary Assistant experience
A passion for animal care and client service

What You'll Do
Our Veterinary Assistants help keep the hospital running smoothly while supporting our patients, clients, and medical team.
Greet clients and patients and gather medical history information
Assist doctors and technicians during appointments and procedures
Monitor hospitalized patients
Perform basic laboratory tasks
Assist with pharmacy duties and medication preparation
Maintain accurate medical records
Support the team by anticipating needs and helping keep appointments running efficiently
Provide compassionate care to every patient who walks through our doors
