Join Our Team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Elevate Patient Care in a High-Impact Environment

We are seeking dedicated and highly skilled Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to provide exceptional anesthesia care during our summer coverage at Sacred Heart. This vital role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume surgical setting, making a meaningful difference in patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive anesthesia care for diverse surgical procedures in a busy hospital setting.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Manage anesthesia plans tailored to individual patient needs, adhering to best practices and safety protocols.
  • Be available for a minimum of 3 shifts per week, with shifts scheduled between 8-12 hours depending on procedures.
  • Work scheduled shifts during the period from June 1, 2026, to September 4, 2026; full availability for the entire duration is required.
  • Opportunity to work at Sacred Heart and at Holy Family, a satellite facility located approximately 15 minutes away, as needed.
  • OT hours are compensated after exceeding a 40-hour workweek, not after 8 hours in a day.
  • No guaranteed hours; scheduling depends on procedural volume and staffing needs.
Required Skills:
  • Valid advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license with certification as a CRNA.
  • Proven trauma experience with demonstrated expertise in high-acuity anesthesia management.
  • Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure environment with precision and professionalism.
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Previous experience working in satellite hospital facilities.
  • Additional certifications in advanced trauma life support or related specialties.
  • Bilingual abilities to enhance team communication and patient care.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nurse Anesthesia.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in trauma anesthesia or similar high-volume surgical care environments.
  • Prior locum or temporary assignment experience is advantageous.
Other Requirements:
  • Must hold current licensure and certification appropriate for the state.
  • Ability to travel to and work at Sacred Heart and Holy Family facilities.
  • Commitment to maintaining compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
