Associate Attorney - Family Law Firm

Are you a passionate and dedicated legal professional looking to make a meaningful impact on families in need? We are seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team at MDH Law, P.S. As an Associate Attorney, you will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive legal guidance and support to clients facing a range of family law matters.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and legal solutions for clients in family law matters such as divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, property division, and domestic violence cases.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare pleadings for court proceedings.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Provide personalized legal advice and counseling to clients while demonstrating empathy and understanding during challenging times.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
• Stay updated with changes in family law regulations and precedents to provide informed legal representation.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
• 1-5 years of experience practicing family law, with a strong understanding of relevant statutes and case law.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Empathy, compassion, and the ability to handle sensitive client matters with professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
