Summary
Responsible for helping to maintain or restore maximum functioning of the patient's cardiopulmonary system in accordance with physician orders and/or departmental protocols. Required to exercise initiative in developing ideas or in responding to or adjusting problemsituations. Typically reports to the supervisor who evaluates ideas. Work processes and assignments for patients of all ages frequently require the incumbent to interpret and apply operating procedures, technical standards, and/or protocols to problems of varying degrees of complexity. This position shares supervision as "charge." Supervision is usually of approximately three employees.
Skills and Certifications:
Graduate of an AMA approved school for Respiratory Care
Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Sleep Disorders Specialty - National Board for Respiratory Care within 2 years of hire
Recent experience in the field of Sleep Study technology
