Leasing Consultant (Floating Position)
We are seeking an exceptional customer service and sales-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team. This is a floating position, meaning the Leasing Consultant will provide support across multiple multi-family communities within our portfolio as needed. This role is ideal for a motivated, organized, and adaptable leasing professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and interacting with a variety of residents, prospects, and team members. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong sales skills, professionalism, and a friendly personality, while delivering outstanding service and maintaining a high level of organization.
As a Floating Leasing Consultant, you will represent our communities by creating a welcoming and professional first impression for both residents and prospective residents. You will be responsible for guiding prospects through the leasing process, identifying their needs and preferences, and presenting the features and benefits of our multi-family communities in a compelling and professional manner. Your ability to build relationships, follow up effectively, and close leases through strong sales techniques will contribute directly to occupancy goals and community success.
Key responsibilities include warmly greeting residents and prospects, providing excellent customer service, and professionally presenting apartment homes, amenities, and community features. You will answer incoming telephone calls, respond to leasing inquiries, and ensure all prospect traffic and daily activity are accurately documented in property management systems. Maintaining a show-quality leasing office, model apartments, and amenity spaces is also an important part of the role, ensuring every visitor experiences a welcoming and professional environment.
In addition to leasing and sales responsibilities, you will support ongoing resident relations initiatives and community events, helping create a positive living experience for residents. You will accept and document service requests from residents, route them to the maintenance team for prompt handling, and follow up to ensure satisfaction. The position also requires conducting market surveys and competitive shopping to stay informed about local multi-family housing trends and pricing.
Because this is a floating position, flexibility, teamwork, and strong organizational skills are essential.
