We are seeking a skilled and motivated Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to support our dynamic cardiology team on a travel basis. This critical role offers the opportunity to work in state-of-the-art labs, utilizing advanced imaging and electrophysiology equipment, while making a tangible difference in patients' lives. Required Skills:

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technology program, healthcare-related associate degree, or equivalent
  • Electrophysiology (EP) experience is essential
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA) required
  • Proficiency in fluoroscopy, digital imaging, and hemodynamic measurements
  • Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and patient safety standards
  • Ability to operate complex cath lab equipment including imaging systems, contrast injectors, and intra-aortic balloon pumps
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage radiation safety protocols effectively
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Certifications such as RCIS, RCES, RCS, or ARRT modalities
  • Experience with advanced procedures like rotational atherectomy, thrombectomy, LVAD management
  • Pediatric Life Support certifications (PALS) for pediatric care settings
  • Prior travel or agency experience in acute care environments
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • 0-1 year of experience in an acute or specialized cardiac care setting
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred
Other Requirements:
  • Valid state licensure (e.g., Texas MRT or LMRT)
  • Ability to travel and work a schedule of 4 days per week, 10 hours per day
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and competency assessments
  • Commitment to organizational safety policies, infection control, and patient privacy
  • Willingness to support department initiatives and promote organizational values aligned with Christian healthcare principles
