Benefits Customer Service Representative (Temporary)

Location: Spokane, WA
Assignment Length: 3Month Contract (Temporary Only)
Schedule: FullTime, Monday-Friday
Work Environment: 100% Onsite

We are hiring a Customer Service Representative for a 3month, fully onsite contract in Spokane, WA. This role is designed for professionals with call center, HR support, or customer service experience who are comfortable handling highvolume employee inquiries related to benefits.

This is a temporary coverage role only and is not eligible for extension or permanent hire.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a firstpointofcontact for employee benefits questions via phone and email
  • Respond to inquiries related to medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits
  • Assist employees with benefit enrollments, changes, and qualifying life events
  • Follow documented procedures and scripts to resolve routine benefits issues
  • Accurately document interactions and transactions in HRIS or casemanagement systems
  • Escalate complex or nonstandard issues to senior HR or benefits team members
  • Support open enrollment by answering employee questions and directing next steps
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with company policies and data privacy standards
Ideal Background
  • 1-3 years of experience in:
    • Call center or customer service roles supporting HR or benefits, OR
    • HR administrative, HR coordinator, or benefits support roles
  • Comfortable handling backtoback calls and employee questions
  • Strong verbal communication and customerservice skills
  • High attention to detail and accurate data entry
  • Experience using HR systems, ticketing tools, or CRM platforms preferred
  • Ability to work onsite in Spokane, WA, Monday-Friday for the full assignment
Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.54 per hour
