Manager - Inst. Custody Client Service Team

Description:

The Institutional Custody team provides custody services to large global and domestic institutional clients. Our clients include mutual funds, hedge funds, alternative investment managers, insurance companies, municipalities, endowments, pension plans, corporate entities, and government investment pools.

The Institutional Custody Administration Manager position provides supervision for daily operational and client-facing activities. IC Managers lead a team of 5-8 associates and interact through formal and informal means to develop a productive, engaged work force. Managers are responsible for executing daily, weekly and monthly controls to reduce risk to the organization. This role ensures our team members are properly developed to carry out their daily responsibilities and effectively service business partners. Managers serve as an escalation point for administrators, clients and other internal departments, and participate in process improvement or other strategic initiatives.

This position reports to a senior manager, and duties include: managing associates, procedure reviews, completing audits, approving transactions throughout the day, oversight of the holistic process workflow for large money movement and trade executions (including foreign trades and wires), cross-departmental process improvement initiatives, managing overtime, and leading/developing team members.

Working in the Institutional Custody Administration team can be fun, challenging, fast paced, and collaborative. As a group we are independently serving clients, but we rely heavily on teamwork and shared knowledge to be successful as a unit. There are often deadlines we rally around as a team.   • You have at least 5 years of experience in Financial Services or Bank operations; Custody or Fund Accounting experience preferred
  • You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience


Compensation Range:
$57,760.00 - $124,170.00
