Role Tanium Lead
Location: US Non-Location - Remote
Technical Skills Primary
Strong knowledge on Tanium Tool and Azure services
Understanding of endpoint security and vulnerability Remediation
Experience as a Security Engineer Infrastructure Engineer or Network Engineer
Responsibilities
Experience in Managing and maintaining several Tanium Tenants and the deployment of the licensed technologies
Should have experience in Monitoring the Discovery OS and Software Patching rerun as necessary
Leverage Tanium for robust security hardening and compliance across Windows workstations VDIs and server infrastructure
Collaborate closely with IT directors application owners and technical teams to scope prioritize and execute remediation efforts
Run comprehensive Tanium reports to identify vulnerabilities
Apply best practices for local administration and system security with handson experience in security hardening techniques
Maintain awareness of industry standards and frameworks related to endpoint security and vulnerability management
Process patch requests and proactively identify problems
Perform activities related to install configuration and management of traditional and cloud patching in Tanium Azure Platforms
Installing patching and upgrading applications and performing system maintenance
Experience with ITIL best practices with Incident Problem Release and Change Management within ServiceNow or other ITSM systems
Creating queries in Tanium
