Join our team as a Grocery Bagger/Courtesy Clerk and create an exceptional customer experience through outstanding service. Your role is vital in ensuring that our store remains a safe and welcoming environment for all customers, encouraging them to return. Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently bag groceries. Aim for at least five items per bag while ensuring no damage to contents.
• Assist customers by removing their merchandise from the cart at checkout.
• Offer help to customers loading bags into their vehicles.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and assist in returning merchandise to shelves.
• Inform customers about current grocery specials.
• Collect bascarts and return them to designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, picking up trash, and ensuring all areas inside and outside the store are tidy.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise as needed.
• Understand store layout to assist customers in locating products and conducting price checks.
• Support safety programs by adhering to safety protocols and reporting any unsafe conditions.
• Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines closely.
• Conduct preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and reporting any repair needs to the manager.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere for customers by answering questions about products throughout the store.
• Follow all local, state, and federal laws, as well as company guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills.
• Effective communication skills.

While retail experience is preferred, it is not required. We are willing to train the right candidates.

Pay range: $17.38 - $17.88 per hour.
