Join Our Team as a Class A CDL Truck Driver!

Are you passionate about driving and eager to return home every day? Do you possess an outstanding safety record? If so, we want you to be part of Idaho Forest Group! We are seeking a dedicated Class A CDL Truck Driver to transport residual products from our sawmills to customer sites.

• You excel in managing all DOT required vehicle pre- and post-inspections.
• You operate a truck in compliance with DOT, state, and city regulations, as well as all Company policies.
• You are familiar with electronic hours of service/log procedures.

Essential Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in commercial truck driving – you're a road warrior!
• A valid Class A CDL.
• A valid US Passport to transport goods into Canada.
• A valid medical card.
• A strong understanding of DOT rules and regulations, including weight restrictions.
• Experience driving in adverse conditions (gravel, snow, and mud-covered roads) – we operate in the Pacific Northwest!
• A clean driving record with a limited number of points.
• Willingness to undergo a PSP verification.

As a condition of employment, Idaho Forest Group requires completion of various pre-employment screenings, which may include physical exams, criminal background checks, drug tests, reference checks, driving history verification, education assessment, skills testing, and credit checks. The depth of screening will vary based on the position.

Physical Requirements:

Candidates must be able to move safely and efficiently, including performing repetitive movements, sitting or standing for full shifts, reaching, stooping, squatting, twisting, pushing and pulling as necessary. Ability to tolerate various weather elements, loud environments, vibrations, and airborne particles (such as sawdust) is essential.
