Director of Operations

  2026-03-22     Angel Senior Care     Spokane,WA
Description:

Build the engine behind a growing home care agency

We're not looking for someone to maintain what already exists.

We're looking for someone who sees how things could run better… and actually builds the systems to make it happen.

Our agency is growing. Referrals are increasing. Clients are trusting us with their families. Caregivers are counting on us to lead well.

Now we need the person who can build the operational engine that supports that growth.

This role is for someone who is naturally autonomous, driven, and wired to improve things. Someone who notices where processes break down and instinctively starts building structure that helps people succeed.

If you like walking into a situation and figuring out how to make it run better, you'll probably love this job.

What you'll actually be responsible for

Most of your time will be focused on building the operational foundation inside the agency that allows us to grow without chaos.

You'll help create stronger systems around intake, scheduling, staffing, caregiver support, and client satisfaction. You'll lead the office team, bring clarity to priorities, and help people perform at a higher level.

Growth only works when the foundation underneath it is strong. Your job is to help build that foundation.

About 40% of the role will also involve helping strengthen our presence in the community. That means supporting referral relationships, understanding what drives new business, and identifying where the next opportunities for growth exist.

This isn't about cold sales. It's about understanding how operations, reputation, and relationships work together to grow a healthcare business.

The type of person who thrives here

You probably:

• Naturally see ways processes could be better

• Like solving operational problems

• Are comfortable leading a team and holding people accountable

• Want autonomy and ownership in your role

• Care about building something that grows over time

You don't wait to be told what to fix.

You see it and start building the solution.

What success will look like

The office team is operating with clarity and accountability.

Caregivers feel supported and stay longer.

Clients are happy and referring their friends.

Referral partners trust us.

Growth is steady and sustainable instead of chaotic.

You'll know you're doing well because the entire operation starts running smoother.

Experience

We care much more about how you think and lead than a perfect résumé, but helpful experience includes:

• Leading or managing a team

• Operational leadership experience

• Healthcare or service-based business experience

• Familiarity with KPIs or operational frameworks like EOS

Compensation

Salary: $81,000 +

Bonus opportunities tied to growth and operational performance.
