About the Role

We are seeking a Manager, Global Strategic Sourcing & Category Management - Software (SaaS Focus) to lead sourcing activities for company-wide software initiatives. This individual contributor role will serve as the primary sourcing expert and single point of contact for SaaS and software supplier engagements from proof-of-concept through enterprise adoption.

You will partner with stakeholders across Engineering, Product, Security, Legal, and Finance to shape sourcing strategy, manage supplier relationships, and drive scalable adoption of software solutions. As the PMO for key software pilots, you will track progress, coordinate cross-functional work, and ensure alignment across teams.

This role requires a strong passion for technology, deep knowledge of the SaaS/software supplier landscape, and the ability to balance innovation with risk management. You will report to the Senior Manager, Global Strategic Sourcing within the Finance organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing and category strategy for SaaS and enterprise software, from evaluation and contracting to lifecycle management.
• Act as the single point of contact for SaaS/software suppliers, managing proof-of-concepts and guiding adoption decisions.
• Serve as the PMO for high-impact software pilots, ensuring structured tracking, reporting, and stakeholder alignment.
• Partner with Engineering, Security, Legal, Product, and Finance to establish supplier strategy, risk frameworks, and best practices.
• Execute RFx processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ) to evaluate innovative SaaS/software solutions, balancing cost, performance, risk, and business value.
• Negotiate complex SaaS/software contracts (MSAs, SOWs, licensing, and service agreements) to safeguard commercial, legal, and technical interests.
• Build sourcing frameworks to enable stakeholder self-service, while guiding high-complexity or strategic deals.
• Monitor supplier performance, track market trends, and evaluate emerging technologies to refine sourcing strategies.
• Drive cost optimization, supplier consolidation, and value creation through strategic partnerships.
• Champion a stakeholder-obsessed approach, ensuring clear communication, trusted advisory support, and strong alignment across the business.

• 7+ years of sourcing and procurement experience, with proven expertise in software and SaaS category management.
• Deep knowledge of the SaaS/software supplier landscape.
• Demonstrated success managing software sourcing pilots and adoption programs.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills with experience in structuring complex SaaS contracts.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, Legal, Finance, and Security.
• Passion for emerging technologies and risk-aware decision-making.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus).
