A healthcare organization is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to support patients within a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) environment. This role involves delivering advanced respiratory therapy services while working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

The practitioner will be responsible for administering respiratory treatments, conducting patient assessments, and supporting critical care interventions. This includes operating and maintaining ventilators, monitoring equipment, and resuscitation devices. The role also involves assisting with diagnostic procedures and ensuring the safe and effective delivery of oxygen therapy and other respiratory care modalities.

Candidates are expected to complete all required departmental and unit-specific training and demonstrate proficiency in modern respiratory therapy practices. Additional patient care duties may be assigned based on qualifications and experience.

Required Qualifications:

• Education that meets certification and licensure requirements
• Active Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire

• Familiarity with advanced ventilatory support systems
