Description:

We are seeking an experienced, career Client Service Associate to support our financial planning team and provide exceptional service to our high-net-worth client base.

This full-time, fully remote role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the operational backbone of a financial planning firm-handling Schwab account operations, supporting planners behind the scenes, and helping ensure planning recommendations are implemented smoothly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schwab Account Operations - Provide ongoing client service support including Account Opening, Transfers, Move Money, Account Maintenance, and other account update requests.
  • Client Onboarding & Support - As a fast-growing RIA, we are continually onboarding new clients. In this role you will welcome new clients to CAM, get them set up in our systems, and assist with account opening and transfers.
  • Client Data & Documents - Organize client files and folders (Box), assist with client review preparation and follow-up templates, update client data in spreadsheets, planning software (MoneyGuide Pro), and our CRM (Wealthbox), etc.
  • Meeting Preparation & Follow-Up - Work closely with our Lead Planners to assist in the preparation of meeting templates and agendas, and ensure all action items from meetings are handled in a timely manner.
  • Financial Planning Support - Update planning inputs in planning software (MoneyGuidePro or similar), assist with Roth conversion and RMD analysis using internal Excel templates, maintain billing tracker, etc.
"MUST HAVE" QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience
    • Bachelor's degree and 3-5+ years as a Client Service Associate, OR
    • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and 10+ years as a Client Service Associate (in lieu of a degree)
    • 2+ years working with Schwab Advisor Center (or comparable custodian)
    • Experience maintaining client information in a CRM
  • Communication and Culture
    • Very clear communicator (verbal and written)
    • Very strong client orientation with exceptional attention to detail
    • Well organized and respectful of client service standards (deadlines)
    • Willing to learn and comfortable saying "I don't know" or "I need help"
    • Consistently demonstrate our core values (Service, Curiosity, Transparency, Humility, & Tenacity)
  • Availability
    • Must reside in the United States
    • Available to work 9AM to 5PM ET
"NICE TO HAVE" QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in an RIA (preferably fee-only & growth oriented)
  • FPQP Designation (Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional)
  • Extensive Schwab experience
  • Familiarity with financial services CRMs (Wealthbox, Redtail, etc.)
  • Experience with workflows and process documentation
  • Track record of effective remote work in a fast-paced, growing firm
  • Track record of thriving in a small company "start-up" culture
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
  • Full-time W2
  • Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 (commensurate with skills & experience)
  • Target Bonus: 5% of base salary
