Title: Natural / ADABAS DBA
Location: Remote
Duration: 2 Years Contract

A Senior Database Administrator is needed to support enterprise applications and database environments. The selected contractor will collaborate with other ADABAS administrators to support systems and applications within the environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10 years of experience with Software AG products including ADABAS, Natural, Natural One, Predict, Construct, ADABAS Replication, Treehouse tcVision, WebMethods EntireX, CONNX SQL Gateway, ApplinX, and Natural AJAX
• 10 years of experience analyzing user requirements and system designs, along with testing, implementing, and performing quality assurance of information systems utilizing Natural One, ADABAS, MVS/JCL, COBOL/CICS, VSAM files, Linux/zLinux, Espsoft/SCL, Informix, and UNIX
• 3 years of experience advising on system architecture and developing, maintaining, and updating documentation for procedures, policies, and processes
• 2 years of knowledge and experience with SNAP, TANF, eligibility, economic assistance, and child welfare policies and procedures, including implementing state and federal mandates in Linux systems
• Advanced experience with ADABAS
• Intermediate experience with relational database systems
• Intermediate experience with CICS, JCL, CA-7, and VSAM
• Intermediate experience with SDLC methodologies

• Experience with Jira and ITSM systems
• Experience with SCRUM or iteration methodologies
• Experience modernizing legacy applications
