Job Opportunity

Position:

Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

Unit:

Main OR CST

Shift:

Day Shift, 4x10 Hours (06:45 - 17:15)

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience
• Teaching Hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I & II experience preferred
• No travel experience required

Certifications:

• BLS
• NBSTSA certification preferred

Skills Required:

• Proficient in scrubbing pediatric, ENT, and plastic surgery cases
• General OR procedures
• Trauma procedures
• Endoscopic procedures
• Robotic surgery, including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System

Work Settings:

• Pediatrics General OR
• General OR
• Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT)
• Neurosurgery
• Orthopedic procedures
• Plastics
• Gynecology
• Urology

Daily Operations:

• Average patient census: 55-60
• Number of surgical rooms: 20
• Interdisciplinary support from various specialized teams
• Patient age groups: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics

Special Requirements:

• Must be available to float to the outpatient surgical center as needed
• Ability to work weekends, as required by departmental needs
