Position Summary

We're looking for a detail-oriented and client-focused Loan Closer to join our remote team.

In this role, you will

own the closing process from start to finish

coordinating all parties, managing documentation, and ensuring loans close on time. You'll play a critical role in delivering a seamless borrower experience while also supporting post-close loan performance and client retention.

This is a high-impact role with direct visibility into operations, client experience, and deal execution.

ResponsibilitiesClient & Vendor Coordination
  • Order and manage appraisals, title, and insurance

  • Coordinate with borrowers, title companies, attorneys, and agents throughout the transaction

  • Ensure all stakeholders are aligned and deadlines are met

  • Deliver a smooth, professional closing experience for every borrower

Loan Documentation & Closing
  • Review and approve entity documentation and borrower structure

  • Prepare and deliver complete closing packages at least 48 hours prior to closing

  • Review title commitments, exceptions, and required endorsements (per legal guidance)

  • Ensure all closing documents are properly executed

  • Balance closing figures and authorize funding upon final approval

Post-Closing & Loan Performance
  • Ensure modifications, extensions, and required documents are completed on time

  • Monitor insurance expirations and coordinate renewals proactively

  • Support data transfer to servicing (UPB, escrow, ACH, etc.)

  • Assist with payoffs, servicing transitions, and loan sales

Operational Support
  • Coordinate with loan buyers on outstanding conditions or stipulations

  • Support asset management efforts (payoffs, issues, escalations as needed)

  • Train and support new team members as the team grows

  • Help improve internal processes and closing workflows

How We Measure Success

Your performance will be reviewed monthly and semi-annually based on:

  • Closing

    20–25+ loans per month

    consistently

  • Ensuring strong borrower and vendor communication throughout the process

  • Maintaining

    zero post-closing compliance issues

    (insurance lapses, maturity defaults, etc.)

  • Contributing to a smooth, repeatable, and scalable closing process

Compensation

Starting at $60,000+ annually, health care stipend is provided.
