Client: Healthfirst
Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid - Onsite Tue, Wed & Thu)

Preference: North Jersey-based candidates strongly preferred
Job Summary:Healthfirst is seeking a Senior AWS Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions. This role focuses on ETL development, AWS data services, and CI/CD-driven deployments to support enterprise analytics and reporting platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines using AWS services
- Build and manage data workflows using AWS Glue and Python
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data engineering solutions
- Work with PostgreSQL and/or Amazon Redshift for data storage and analytics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data ingestion, transformation, and delivery
- Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and performance across pipelines
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and production support
- Strong experience as an AWS Data Engineer
- Hands-on expertise with AWS Glue
- Advanced Python programming skills
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or Amazon Redshift
- Proven ETL development experience
- Ability to work in a hybrid onsite environment (NYC)
