Job Title
Power Platform Architect
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Architect to lead the design, governance, and scalable adoption ofMicrosoft Power Platform across the enterprise. This role will be responsible for provisioning and managing Power Platform environments, implementing and operating the Center of Excellence (CoE) Toolkit, and establishing governance, security, and lifecycle management standards. The architect will ensure secure, compliant, and efficient use of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, and Dataverse.

Key Responsibilities
Power Platform Architecture & Strategy
Define and own the Power Platform architecture aligned with enterprise IT, security, and business strategies.
Establish best practices for solution design, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Act as the technical authority for Power Platform across the organization.
Environment Provisioning & Management
Design and manage Power Platform environment strategy, including:
Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments
Sandbox and innovation environments
Provision, configure, and maintain environments using ALM and automation best practices.
Define and manage environment security, DLP policies, and capacity planning.
Ensure environment lifecycle management, including cleanup, archiving, and optimization.

Center of Excellence (CoE) Toolkit Implementation
Lead the deployment, configuration, and customization of the Power Platform CoE Toolkit.
Establish monitoring and reporting for:
App and flow usage
Maker activity
Compliance and governance insights
Use CoE insights to drive platform adoption, optimization, and risk mitigation.
Partner with business and IT teams to enable citizen developer success while maintaining control.
Governance, Security & Compliance
Design and implement Power Platform governance framework, including:
Environment strategy
Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies
Connector usage policies
App and flow approval processes
Ensure compliance with enterprise security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
Define standards for naming conventions, solution packaging, and release management.
Integrate Power Platform governance with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft 365 security controls.
Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
Define and implement ALM strategy using:
Solutions
Pipelines (Power Platform Pipelines, Azure DevOps, GitHub)
Enable CI/CD for Power Platform assets.
Establish versioning, rollback, and release management processes.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Enablement
Work closely with business units, IT, security, and compliance teams.
Provide architectural guidance and design reviews for Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.
Support training, documentation, and onboarding for makers and development teams.
Act as an escalation point for complex platform and governance issues.

Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft certifications such as:
Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
Power Platform Functional Consultant
Experience in large enterprise or regulated environments
Background in low-code governance or platform engineering
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and automation scripting (PowerShell)
