• Interpret communication between deaf and hearing individuals in various settings
• Provide accurate translations of spoken and signed language

• Document interpretation sessions in line with policies
• Assist with scheduling and preparing for interpretation needs
• Report any challenges or issues to supervisors
• Continuously develop ASL skills through professional training

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Sign language proficiency
• At least one year of experience is preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a School setting
• Strong communication, time management, and clinical decision-making skills

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a School setting
• Familiarity with electronic documentation systems
• Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and patient-centered care
