Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner - Sleep Lab
Location: Spokane, WA (Onsite)

Department: Sleep Lab / Respiratory Therapy
The Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner - Sleep Lab is responsible fordelivering advanced respiratory therapy and cardiopulmonary care to patients. This role involves collaborating with healthcare teams to provide specialized therapeutic services, particularly within sleep lab and respiratory care settings.
The practitioner will utilize clinical expertise, critical thinking, and patient-centered care approaches to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Excellence

  • Provide direct respiratory therapy and sleep lab patient care
  • Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Deliver cardiopulmonary therapeutic interventions
  • Monitor patient response and adjust treatments accordingly
Specialized Respiratory Support
  • Support sleep studies and respiratory diagnostics
  • Operate respiratory and monitoring equipment
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient care activities
Collaboration & Coordination
  • Work closely with physicians, nurses, and care teams
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning
  • Support continuity of care and patient outcomes
Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and hospital policies
  • Maintain patient safety and infection control practices
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Must-Have Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree (or equivalent meeting licensure requirements)
  • Active Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License (required upon hire)
  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
  • Minimum 3+ years of Respiratory Therapist experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Sleep Lab or polysomnography
  • Experience in cardiopulmonary care settings
  • Strong clinical and patient assessment skills
