Pride Health is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) – Travel to support our client's medical facility based in Spokane, WA 99208. This is a 13-week assignment with a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) – Travel
Location: Spokane, WA 99208
Weekly blended pay: $1,150.00/week - $1,270.00/week
Schedule: Mid (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM), 5×8-hour shifts
Start date: 05/04/2026
Facility Type: Short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center
Requirements:
2+ years experience (travel required)
Experience with Epic charting system
Certifications required: CBSPD or HSPA (IAHCSMM)
Must have strong acute hospital OR sterile processing experience
Core Responsibilities / Skills:
Full sterile processing workflow:
Decontamination, cleaning, and sterilization
Instrument tray assembly and wrapping
Handling and reprocessing:
Endoscopes (bronchoscopes, colonoscopes, etc.)
Surgical instruments across specialties (ortho, cardiac, OB/GYN, robotics, etc.)
Use of:
Sterilizers, washers, ultrasonic cleaners
High-level disinfection (HLD) systems
Instrument tracking systems (SPM)
May need to float to nearby facilities
