Inside Sales Representative – Commercial Security Systems
Access Unlimited & Security Inc. is a growing commercial security integration company specializing in access control, IP video surveillance (CCTV), intrusion detection, and low-voltage security solutions.
We are looking for a motivated, detail-driven Inside Sales Representative to support our commercial sales team and help move opportunities from initial request to approved project.
This is a high-volume, detail-focused sales support role. We need someone who is motivated, detail-driven, and comfortable managing a high volume of quotes, revisions, and follow-ups without sacrificing accuracy or professionalism.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building quotes, coordinating with sales and operations, reviewing drawings and specifications, communicating with customers, and helping turn opportunities into awarded work.
What You'll DoSales Support & Pipeline Management
- Support the outside sales team with quote development, revisions, and follow-up
- Track opportunities in CRM and help move deals through the sales pipeline
- Maintain accurate sales records, documentation, and opportunity updates
- Help keep quotes, follow-ups, and approvals moving without letting details fall through the cracks
- Manage multiple active opportunities at the same time in a fast-moving environment
Quoting & Proposal Development
- Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and pricing for commercial security projects
- Review project requirements, drawings, specifications, and customer requests
- Verify quantities, licensing, hardware, labor assumptions, and system components
- Ensure proposals align with customer needs, system design, and internal standards
- Create polished, professional, customer-ready proposal documents
- Identify missing information, potential scope gaps, and questions that need clarification before a quote is finalized
Customer Communication
- Serve as a point of contact for inbound customer inquiries
- Follow up on proposals, revisions, and approvals
- Clarify scope questions and communicate customer needs to internal teams
- Help provide a professional, responsive experience for customers throughout the quoting process
Product & System Knowledge
- Develop and maintain a strong working understanding of commercial security systems
- Learn system architecture, licensing, hardware requirements, and infrastructure needs
- Stay current on access control, video surveillance, intrusion, and related low-voltage technologies

Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in inside sales, sales support, customer service, estimating, project coordination, or a similar role
- Experience preparing proposals, scopes of work, technical quotes, or customer-facing documents
- Experience using CRM, ERP, estimating, or project tracking platforms
- Experience using PDF markup or design software such as Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Acrobat Pro, or similar tools
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple active quotes and opportunities at once
- Ability to review drawings, project requirement documents, and technical specifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Industry knowledge in commercial security, low-voltage, AV, electrical, construction, or a related technical field
Preferred Qualifications
- Sales, estimating, design, or project coordination experience in the commercial security, low-voltage, AV, or electrical industry
- Working knowledge of commercial security manufacturers and platforms such as:
- Hanwha Vision
- Axis Communications
- Avigilon
- Brivo
- Genetec
- Hirsch
- Software House C•CURE
- Other enterprise-grade VMS and access control platforms
Compensation
Base Salary + Commission
Expected compensation range: $70,000 – $100,000+, based on experience, performance, and commission opportunity.
