Under general supervision, the Electrical/Electronics Technician performs electrical assembly, installation, troubleshooting, and testing operations on moderate to complex hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
There are 3 grades in the Electrical/Electronics Technician classification with each grade advancement being inclusive of the prior in the sequence. Preceding advancement to the next grade, team members are required to actively participate in the safety process, have a clean work record clear of any disciplinary actions for 12 months, and have a promotion recommendation by their respective lead and supervisor.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Advanced blueprint/schematic reading. Military, trade school or community college coursework in mechanical/electrical assembly, repair, and troubleshooting desired.
Physical Requirements: This position requires a high level of physical flexibility, strength, and stamina, including the ability to: see and assess drawings, photos, and written instructions; audibly hear verbal instructions and mechanical signals (forklifts, cranes, machine alarms, etc.); and speak, read, write, and communicate effectively.

Employee Equipment: Must be able to provide an assortment of tools in a rollaway toolbox and steel-toed boots.
