Job Summary

Member of Strategy Integration & Reporting team that analyzes the effectiveness of new and existing agency management, performance and compensation programs. Participates in the development and creation of proposals and programs designed to improve the productivity and profitability of the Independent Agency Operations organization and the Independent Agent Channel. Participates in assigned projects to optimize allocation of resources. Contributes to operational reporting and analysis projects for IA distribution. Performs data analysis for the Independent Agency Distribution Channel across all agency segments and lines of business. Applies analysis, interpretation and reporting to solve defined problems. Evaluates data to identify trends in production and profitability of the lines of business and the distribution management group. Provides proper level of analytics & reporting necessary to support business decisions. Limited contact with and presentation to senior executives.

Essential Job Functions

  • Engaging senior leadership team through meetings and presentations.
  • Supports processes that provide systematic measurement of distribution management initiatives.
  • Participates in the development of actionable measurement of distribution programs that drive follow up strategy and tactics.
  • Develops data analysis and recommendations for the Independent Agency Distribution Organization.
  • Participates in joint projects with other business units regarding the performance, management and compensation of IA Distribution Channel.
  • Analyzes agency segmentation & compensation programs & provides recommendations for change.
  • Produces standardized operational & management reports including trending analysis of productivity and profitability measures within agency segments and across lines of business.
  • Develops agency segmentation & attribute reporting including collection & presentment of standard operational KPIs and milestones including operational scorecards.
  • Supports "need based" reporting as assigned.

Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Degree in math, statistics, business, or related field preferred.

Experience Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in a similar role or 1 year of experience with a graduate level degree.

Special Skill Requirement

Expert level with Microsoft Excel. Experience with Python, SQL, and PowerBI (or similar visualization tool) required. Proven written and oral communication and critical thinking skills.
