Scope Overview: National Maintenance Contractors is seeking a high-energy Customer Relationship Specialist to anchor our Spokane area operations. This is a role focused on retention and growth. You will serve as the primary bridge between our operations team and a portfolio of 30–50 key accounts. Your mission is to deliver exceptional customer service, preserving retention of clients, while aggressively identifying opportunities to upsell additional services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship & Retention Management:
    • Oversee a portfolio of 30–50 existing clients with a primary focus on quality control and relationship consistency.
    • Conduct regular site walkthroughs and formal inspections to ensure operational excellence.
    • Act as the relationship manager to mitigate contract losses.
  • Revenue Growth & Sales:
    • Identify and sell one-time specialized services and recurring upsells.
    • Drive efforts to meet an annual growth goal (both Recurring Monthly Revenue (RMR) and Specialized Services) of $1M.
    • Draft proposals and negotiate contract expansions within your assigned book of business.
  • Market Development:
    • Actively represent the company in local trade associations (e.g., BOMA, IFMA) to build industry influence.
    • Network with property managers and facility directors to create a robust pipeline of future opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Janitorial, Facility Services, or Property Management.
  • Strong background in Customer Service (CRM) and consultative sales.
  • Deep familiarity with the Spokane area commercial real estate market.
  • Ability to balance operational problem-solving with aggressive sales targets.
