Adjunct Faculty

Salary information: Effective August 1, 2021, Adjunct Faculty assigned to semesters will be compensated at the rate of at least one thousand fifty one dollars and 50 cents ($1051.50) per credit. Effective September 1, 2024, Adjunct Faculty assigned to quarters will be compensated at the rate of at least seven hundred and seventy-five dollars ($775) per credit. The minimum compensation for quarterly online course teaching will be nine hundred ($900) dollars per credit.

Conditions of Employment: Appointment is as specified in the letter of appointment. Appointment as an adjunct faculty member does not confer any right to subsequent appointment for additional quarters or semesters. To be considered eligible for appointment into the position, applicants must be available and able to start in the position no later than the date specified in the letter of appointment. This position, during the course of university employment will be involved in the receipt of, or accountability for, university funds or other items of value, as well as the unsupervised access with the developmentally disabled, vulnerable adults or children under the age of 16. The offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion and passing of a background check prior to beginning employment. After starting employment, employees will complete the required training via Canvas.
