1+ Year of Press Brake Operator Experience required
Must be able to speak, read and understand English
Ability to work from verbal and written instructions
Operation of small power tools, other hand tools and computerized and high-pressure
What You Do:
Technical authority for container fabrication and welding processes
SME across MIG, TIG, and Flux-core welding
Primary escalation point for weld quality, fit-up, and dimensional issues
Sets standards for safety, quality, and fabrication best practice
Lead complex container fabrication and critical weld structures
Approve weld sequencing, fixturing, and distortion control methods
Support engineering with design-for-manufacturability feedback
Verify weld parameters and process controls
Own weld inspection standards (visual and dimensional)
Analyze rework, defects, and trends; implement countermeasures
Train and qualify welders by process and application
Support audits and customer or government inspections
Lead cross-functional problem solving using A3
Own welding CI roadmap for containers and small parts
Lead kaizen events impacting safety, quality, and throughput
Mentor Tier III welders and develop future leads
