About the Restaurant Server/Busser Position

Our restaurant is seeking a reliable, energetic, and friendly Restaurant Server to join our team. As a Restaurant Server, you'll be responsible for providing a top-notch dining experience for our customers. Whether taking orders orrunning food, good customer service comes first. As a Busser, you'll be responsible for assisting servers throughout Food and Beverage service. Exceed guest's expectations by providing a high standard service. Respond to all interactions in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction. Responsible for appearance of section, work station and dining room.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patrons to our restaurant and seat them as needed
• Familiarize yourself with the menu and be ready to answer customer questions about different options
• Take food and beverage orders, paying close attention to special requests and dietary restrictions
• Safely and efficiently run food from the kitchen to the table
• Assist patrons as needed, checking in with them frequently to ensure their experience is satisfactory
• Present customers with their checks and accept payments
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation requirements
• Clean and prepare tables as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Restaurant Server preferred but not required
• Be a team player and willing to lend a hand when needed
• Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
• Superb communication skills, including a customer-service oriented personality
• The ability to be on your feet for multiple hours at a time
• Must have open availability - weekends and holidays included

• Must maintain a minimum of 30 hours per week or more.

• Variable hour team members could be eligible 12 months after their date of hire, with supervisor approval, so long as they have averaged 30+ hours per week throughout their first year.

401K Plan:

• Team members are eligible to participate at the age of 21 or greater and at the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.

• 2% match with a 4% contribution from the team member.

PTO:

• 6 months gets 7 PTO days - 728 hours (average 28 hours per week)

• 1 year gets 10 PTO days - 1,456 hours (average 28 hours per week)

• 2-4 years gets 15 PTO days - 1,456 hours (average 28 hours per week)

• 5+ years gets 20 PTO days - 1,200 hours (average 23 hours per week)

Holiday Pay:

• Hourly team members who work on Thanksgiving and Christmas will be paid their wage at time and a half.
