Description:

Technical Service Representative

Respond directly to customer requests and support the Account Manager team regarding applications, product selection, and installation of industrial rubber products. You'll spend time interacting with customers to determine their needs and then help meet those needs, directly impacting customer satisfaction, retention, and sales results.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical customer support and problem-solving for rubber applications, systems, and supporting components to customers and internal sales/support associates.
  • Serve as a professional point of contact for customer quotes and product sourcing.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction and sales by assisting with product selection, interchange & replacements, cycle time reductions, and overall customer satisfaction improvement.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of proven customer service or inside sales experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal).
  • Experience with data entry, SAP, quotes, inventory management, and distribution.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with CRM systems is beneficial.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Strong listening, negotiating, and effective questioning skills.
  • Knowledge of industrial rubber products application (conveyor belting, fabrication, splicing) is preferred.
  • Experience in the industrial distribution industry.

Work Environment

Work is based in an office located within a shop environment, which can be loud and dirty due to the nature of the work. May provide support to receiving as needed. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane Valley, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
