Medical AssistantThis clinic is open to an MA-R or MA-C. This is a Gynecologic Oncology Clinic. This clinic supports a sensitive patient population that will require an understanding MA-C or MA-R to assist with setting up the room for procedures, rooming patients, responding to patient inquiries via portal within scope, collecting vitals and history, and most importantly care coordination and patient navigation. Clinic has 4 GYN Oncologists, one benign GYN surgeon, 4 APP's supporting the team. Providers spend about 50% of their time in the OR, and 50% of their time in clinic. While the patient population is overall "low volume", the low volume needs a lot of support due to the nature of the conditions being supported. Caregivers in this role would be responsible for the overall flow of the clinic as well as care coordination/patient navigation activities to ensure our patients are getting the treatments/tests they need when they need it. Role is Temp to Perm. Travelers will be considered but they must be open to going perm. Locals preferred. MA is expected to have their own reliable transportation.
