Door Production SchedulerOrePac Building Products is a wholesale building materials supplier providing product, sales, and technology solutions to the shelter industry. Our mission: Make Complicated Simple™.The Door Production Scheduler plans and prepares the production schedule for all departments in the door shop and/or pre-finish shop.This is a Full-Time position. Normal days of work are Mondays through Fridays; shift availability may vary. Hours may need to be extended or adjusted at any time, with or without notice, to meet the needs of the organization.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Works with Shop Manager to ensure that appropriate personnel and assets are availableReviews printed workorders from the BisTrack to ensure accuracy and works with sales to make appropriate changes as neededOrganize and distribute work orders to correct personnelAssist in door/or pre-finish shops as neededThis job description is not intended to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Experience and Education:High School diploma or general education degree (GED), experience of at least one-year (preferred) or any combination of education, training or experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.Required Skills:• The ability to communicate clearly, effectively present information in one on one or small group situations. Ability to communicate in Spanish may be a requirement depending upon location.• Ability to understand basic math skills including fractions, decimals. Ability to read a tape measure.• Apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.• Type by touch, 30 words per minute (WPM).• Experienced with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.Work Environment:This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.OrePac supports a safe and drug-free workplace.
