Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSterile Processing Technician (SPT) – Travel ContractLocation: Spokane, WAPay: $30/hourStart Date: October 19, 2026Contract: 13 weeksSchedule: 5x8-hour shifts | 2:00 PM–10:30 PMWeekend: Every 4th weekendCall: No call requiredCharting: EpicParking: FreePosition Overview:We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician for a 13-week travel assignment at Providence Holy Family Hospital, a short-term acute care hospital and Level III Trauma Center. This position is ideal for experienced Sterile Processing Travelers with strong knowledge of surgical instrument processing, sterilization, decontamination, and operating room support.Key Responsibilities:Decontamination and disinfection of surgical instruments and equipmentManual cleaning and use of ultrasonic cleanersSterilization and monitoring of sterilization equipmentProper assembly, organization, labeling, and wrapping of instrument traysUse of washers and sterilizersBiological and chemical indicator testingSteris and Sterrad testing/monitoringFlexible endoscope reprocessingProcessing surgical instruments and specialty equipmentMaintaining proper documentation and instrument trackingFollowing aseptic technique and infection-control proceduresProcessing sets and trays for surgical proceduresSpecialty Experience:Experience with multiple surgical specialties is preferred, including:General SurgeryOrthopedics/Total JointsLaparoscopicRoboticsUrologyOB/GYNENTOphthalmologyPlasticsCardiacVascularTraumaTransplantRequirements:Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing experience2 years of travel experience requiredCBSPD or HSPA certificationEpic experienceExperience in an acute hospital/OR settingStrong knowledge of sterilization, decontamination, and instrument processingExperienced Sterile Processing Travelers onlyAdditional Information:No callNo block scheduleEvery 4th weekend required40 hours of facility orientationTravelers may be expected to float to nearby sister facilities if neededCOVID-19 vaccination is not requiredLocal candidates may be consideredApply todaynCompany DescriptionWe have been in the industry for over 30 years, understand the challenges and felt the need to offer a higher service than the rest!Our team consists of medical and staffing professionals, that understand the value of personal relationships and high speed results.Q2H Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
